By
Emily Dickinson.
Not knowing when the Dawn will come,
I open every door,
Or has it Feathers, like a bird,
Or Billows, like a Shore─

By
Emily Dickinson.
The feet of people walking home
In gayer sandals go,
The Crocus, till she rises,
The Vassal of the Snow—
The lips at Hallelujah!
Long years of practice bore,
Till bye and bye these Bargemen
Walked singing on the shore.
Pearls are the Diver’s farthings
Extorted from the Sea,
Pinions the Seraph’s wagon,
Pedestrians once, as we—
Night is the morning’s canvas,
Larceny, legacy,
Death but our rapt attention
To immortality.
My figures fail to tell me
How far the village lies,
Whose Peasants are the angels,
Whose Cantons dot the skies,
My Classics veil their faces,
My Faith that dark adores,
Which from its solemn Abbeys
Such resurrection pours!

By
Emily Dickinson.
Frequently the woods are pink─
Frequently are brown.
Frequently the hills undress
Behind my native town.
Oft a head is crested
I was wont to see─
And as oft a cranny
Where it used to be─
And the Earth─ they tell me─
On its Axis turned!
Wonderful Rotation!
By but twelve performed!

By
Emily Dickinson.
I have a Bird in spring
Which for myself doth sing─
The spring decoys.
And as the summer nears─
And as the Rose appears,
Robin is gone.

By
Emily Dickinson.
On this wondrous sea
Sailing silently,
Ho! Pilot, ho!
Knowest thou the shore
Where no breakers roar─
Where the storm is o'er?

Winter under cultivation
Winter under cultivation
Is as arable as Spring.

Much Madness is divinest Sense—
By Emily DickinsonMuch Madness is divinest Sense—
To a discerning Eye—
Much Sense—the starkest Madness—
’T is the Majority
In this, as All, prevail—
Assent—and you are sane—
Demur—you’re straightway dangerous—
And handled with a Chain—

From all the jails the Boys and Girls
By Emily DikinsonFrom all the jails the Boys and Girls
Ecstatically leap—
Beloved only Afternoon
That Prison doesn't keep

Emily Dickinson
Good Morning -Midnight-
I'm coming Home -
Day- Got tired of Me-
How Could I- of Him?
Sunshine was a sweet place-
I liked to stay-
But Morn- didn't want me- now-
So- Goodnight- Day!
I can look- can't I-
When the East is red?
The Hills- have a way- then-
That puts the Heart- abroad-
You- are not so fair- Midnight-
I chose- Day-
But- please take a little Girl-
He turned away!
